My Eyes on Manila...

The Place I've visited for 6 days, 5 nights vacation in Manila, Philippines.
MATABUNGKAY BEACH, BATANGAS
This Matabungkay Beach offers no other than swimming and watching the sunset but good enough to enjoy and releasing tension. There are cottages provided for us to rent. Other than that, there are some locals persistently chasing tourist to buy their merchandise. The best attitude when approached by there people is to simply say, "No thank you". And important, NEVER ask anything about their merchandise if your are not interested.
As early as 2pm.. when we arrived Matabungkay Beach, its heavily raining. We were so worried that we couldn't enjoy the day. We was imagining how nice and exciting to swim for the whole evening. And couldn't bear to get disappointed.Luckily the rain stopped around 5pm. and so we jump to the ocean.
You can also drink San Miguel Light to warm body after or during swimming for few hours in cold night oceans, and BBQ while floating off the shore, like us. But just be sure that your are not drunk and be more caution.
During my stay here Matabungkay, Me and my friends spend our day barbecuing on the shaded raft floating several meters off the shore. We did swam till late 9.pm. These floating sheds are rented out by villagers. This is the most sweet memories i had during my vacation in Manila because i really love beach and sunset.

GREENBELT 5 , Makati Manila.
This Greenbelt Malls accomodate well known and loved International luxury brands eg: Keith's, Escada, Marc Jacobs, DKNY and lots more grands brands. Hmmm..for the budget trip personnel, your are not recommended to shop here.

The JEEPNEY
The Jeepney rapidly emerged as a popular and creative way to re-establish inexpensive public transportation. (Cost about 7Php / MYR0.50) In Manila, you can found lots of nice and beautiful Jeepney. Some of the Jeepney decorated with vibrant colors and amazing sound system. I didn't manage to ride and drive this Jeepney but will sure do in my next trip.

The Manila Starbuck.
Every City in the world have its own design of Strabuck. This is the most unique shop i ever seen. According to my Kuya Gore, (regore71@ yahoo.com) our tour guide, (now already become my friend) This Starbuck building is a former prison but renovated and become the most visited cafe in Manila.

INTRAMURAS
A lot of nice view can be seen while walking around Intramuras. It's very interesting place to visit. No need to walk because there are local businesses such as horse riding that can be hired to take us around. Along the way, we'll a fortress prison as ancient times, traditional stalls and spectacular Spanish-style cuisine.

TAAL VOLCANO,TAGAYTAY CITY
On way to Matabungkai Beach, I did spend a few hours enjoying the Fascinating view of Tagaytay City, it's 7o km South of Manila. This Sprawling town offers SUPERB views as you can see in the picture the smallest volcano ( Taal Volcano) surrounded by lake. This cute little Volcano is one of the smallest and dangerous in the world. If it's a clear sun shiny day, you'll see this cute and superb view clearly.
THE SHRINE OF DIVINE CHURCH,MARIOLAO BULACAN
This is a replica of Lourdes Grotto of France. Located outside of The Shrine of Divine Mercy Church in Marilao Bulacan, Philippines. This Church is well known and every year, thousands of people would come for healing and Spiritual renewal. I wonder if there is a Mass held in this Grotto and of course i know you all thinking of that too. ( Yes.. there are. 2nd Mass every sunday.) and you can also find and buy cheap religious stuff here.
LUNETA PARK ( RIZAL PARK )
According to Kuya Gore : José Rizal on December 30, 1896, whose execution made him a hero of the Philippine Revolution. the Declaration of Philippine Independence from American rule on June 12, 1946; and the political rallies of Ferdinand Marcos and Corazon Aquino in 1986. This park was name after him. "The Rizal Park. And my picture here shows the site of where he was executed by Firing scuad.

THE MANILA AMERICAN CEMETERYAND MEMORIAL
Located in Fort Bonifacio , Taguig City in Metro Manila. It is the largest cemetery and for U.S personnel killed during World War II and also holds war dead from the Phillipines and other allied nations. Me and my friends is standing in a hemicycles walls that inscribes the 36,282 of missing person who gave their life in the service.

Me and my friends love this tree....and its also in the American Cemetery's area.
Me and my best friends jump....like we never care its a cemetery. Hehehe but we totally respect the dead. (We know that theres no body in there, thats why it's OK to jump around.)
